Wal-Mart Beauty Haul

Hey Luuuxers,

I recently went to Walmart and ended up grabbing quite a few beauty products so I`m going to share my haul with all of you. Being away for the majority of the summer, there were a few items I was looking to grab....but the majority of these were purchased on a whim.

The products I meant to buy were the dry shampoo and the regular shampoo. I love using a bit of dry shampoo to help and some volume to my 2nd or 3rd day curls. One of my favourites is the Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo: it smells nice and fresh, doesn`t leave an overwhelming amount of residue, and is affordable. I`ve re-purchased this quite a few times, so maybe I should do a full blown review?
The regular shampoo I needed thanks to a small mistake from my mom. She forgot to grab the shampoo when she purchased some conditioner on a previous trip, though she remembers putting it in her cart - she checked her receipt so she never paid for it, but somewhere during her trip she forgot the grab it - oh well, I guess that`s what daughters are for lol. She had the Equate brand keratin conditioner, so I got her the matching shampoo.

While I was in the hair care aisle, I also ended up noticing that Garnier products were on sale. I wanted something to help seal my split ends - for whatever reason, they have gotten really bad lately. I like the Damage Eraser line, and they have something called a Split End Bandage so I decided to give it a try. Mostly, I need a haircut, but I figure this might be able to help until I get around to booking one! My hair is long and curly and goes down to my waist, so I always have trouble letting go and cutting it.

But most of the damage happened in the make-up aisle! I had a coupon for 2 dollars off when you purchase 2 Rimmell products, so I figured it was a great time to pick up the New Provocalips long wear lip colour. I`ve been eyeing these for a while since they promise 16 hours of wear! I actually swatched one last time I was in store (before my trip) and the swatch on my hand lasted for days! I had to scrub to get it off! Ive been thinking about getting some ever since...

I also had a coupon for Covergirl, so I decided to pick out a lipstick from their Colorlicious line. I`ve really been getting into lipsticks and lip colours lately so Im curious to try this line out.

I also did my regular scope out of the Wet and Wild display. I noticed that they had restocked some of the Color Icon trios and I ended up picking up Don`t Steal My Thunder - one I don`t have yet.

Lastly, I noticed a display for the Maybelline Brights palette and I couldn`t resist. I have the Nudes palette, and I love it so I wanted to pick this up as well. I will probably end up eventually picking up the Smokes palette as well! :P

But for today, this was plenty of stuff to play with!

So much exciting stuff I was able to pick up!
