Urban Outfitter (Red) BDG Primary Satchel hit or miss

I saw this bag, the BDG Primary Satchel a couple months ago on the urban outfitters website, and I thought it was an adorable bag. Ive been looking for a red bag to add to my bag collection and this bag may be perfect. Once I started to really look at the bag for a long time, it started to look a little on the cheap side (a little plastic looking) and then I started to reconsider buying this bag. The black and brown version of this bag doesnt look so plastic but I already have a bag in those two colors. I still might get it but Im still not sure. What do you guys think, is this red bag a hit or miss?
