My New Favourite Earring Trend

Hey luuuxers,

I wanted to share with all of you my newest earring obsession. I have been collecting these new front back earrings and I love the edgy look they provide.

I`m not sure exactly what these earrings are called: I`ve heard ppl describe them as cuff earrings, or earring `jackets` but no matter what you call them, they are cool and unexpected. I love how they add a little bit of unique visual interest.

I have seen unique earring backs before with decorations in the back, but I`m a fan of this fan style (no pun intended) where you get a few prongs or a row of gems at the bottom peeking from behind the ear lobe.

The first pair I got is from Zara, and they are the middle pair in blue. These retail for about 17 dollars, but they were a gift from my cousin. I wore them for about a week straight and got at least a couple of compliments a day. So I decided to seek out some more styles.

So whenever I am looking at new junk jewelry trends, I usually turn to eBay which is where I found these other 2 pairs. The pearl pair was a dollar while the silver was being sold individually (not in pairs) for a buck each. Both had free shipping, which is easy to find on eBay. And they actually arrived pretty quickly!

I also like how you can mix and match the stud and the fan back - you don`t need to wear them together - I haven`t tried that yet, but if I find another pair of studs to wear with one of these I plan on trying it!

Also, all the styles I own have 2 different holes for the `fan` meaning you can wear them a little higher or lower, depending on the size of your ear lobe I guess. So it`s something that is for everybody!
