Since I`m a university student, I get the opportunity to meet a bunch of new people through school, volunteering and work. And also since I am of Asian descent, I am bound to meet other new Asians ha. Due to these two factors, I would say that I am very likely to meet new Canadians that vary in ethnicities and cultures. And since I am a BzzAgent, I was selected in a campaign where BzzAgent and P&G; Canada gratefully gave me and 10 new Canadians of my choice a box full of free goodies to try! The point of this campaign was to introduce new Canadians to products that are available here in Canada that they could use on a daily basis. So before I get on with my first impressions, these products were received for review via BzzAgent and P&G; Canada. I received 11 boxes in total that contain the same items that I will describe below.
First Impression:
-The box of products is called `My Canadian Essentials` since it contains basic essentials such as shampoo and body wash.
-My Canadian Essentials Guide: This booklet is `a friendly starter guide to help new Canadian families enjoy essential P&G; brands and savings.` In this booklet, P&G; explains what each product is that they have received and also other products that P&G; provides such as Covergirl and Gillette. At the back there are various coupons for: Dawn, Febreze, Pepto, Vicks, Gillette and many more.
-Woo-Hoo It`s Here: This card is received in every campaign that tells you to visit their site to get `the inside scoop, [and] kick-start some sweet, sweet conversations.`
-Costco Pamphlet: This card was meant to introduce new Canadians to Costco Wholesale. They explain how they have larger sized products at a better deal, to help them save money. And they offer an incentive for joining such that if you become a Gold Star or Executive Member, you get a $10 cash card to Costco.
-Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream Moisturizer (X2): In each box, there were two sample packs of this given out; one pack is 0.6g/0.02 oz. This product `fades the look of dark spots in 8 weeks` and is to being back `youthful skin.` It will help even out your skin tone and also reduce the look of under-eye circles! Even though I am still fairly young, I like how this product would help reduce under eye circles since I got them myself for staying up late studying.
-Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (X1): The magic eraser that was in the box is the `extra power` one. I personally love Mr. Clean`s Magic Eraser since it practically removes any mark you want. For those who are not familiar with this, it is meant to `erase tough kitchen stains magically.`
-Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash (X1): This body wash is made with shea butter which is fantastic for keeping your skin moisturized in Canada`s cold and dry weather. The sample size is 50mL/1.7 oz. I have used Olay body washes before and love how creamy it is.
-Tide PODS (x1): A wonderful product that keeps it simple for you when you`re doing laundry. This product is a detergent, brightener and a stain-remover that is packed into one `pod.` Just throw the product in and leave the messy days of measuring liquid or powder detergent behind.
-Swiffer Duster (X1): Any product by Swiffer will keep your house dust-free. The one that was provided is the `Duster` which is the handle one that will `trap dirt from every nook and corner.` Since I have allergies to dust, this product does a great job at finding dust in hard to reach places.
-Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Shampoo and Conditioner (X1): Pantene makes really great products that keeps your hair healthy with it`s `clinically proven antioxidant shampoo formula` that `captures impurities in water before they damage your hair.` The set (50 mL each) that was provided is to help give your hair a boost.
-Old Spice Fiji Body Wash and Swagger Shampoo (X1): And something for the guys would be some products from Old Spice. The body wash and shampoo will help any guy feel confident with Old Spice`s manly scents. Each product is 50mL.
With a box full of various goodies, I can imagine how happy and excited any new Canadian would feel when receiving this box. Overall, I am excited to try Olay`s Regenerist Luminous Moisturizer to help reduce the look of my under eye cirlces!
