MAC Wedding Haul!

I recently just got married a few days ago and I went to MAC to get my makeup done. Before I get into what I bought, I need to tell you how absolutely HORRIBLE and scary my makeup was after the makeup artist was finished. Seriously, I couldn`t even look at myself in the mirror it was so bad. I had told her to do something glowy and natural. My husband didn`t want me to come out looking like a clown and the girl definitely surpassed that. I had brown lips that made me look like I had just got done eating brown crayons and then I had some yellow/gold eyeshadow that wasn`t even blended in properly and also was all the way up to my eyebrows. My foundation make me look like the biggest grease ball that ever lived and I was just way too sparkly. She was so sweet and I felt terrible about telling her that I absolutely hated it. I told her I loved it, paid for my things and quickly ran out of there. As I was driving home I rubbed off all of my eyeshadow and lipstick because I didn`t want my family to see me. I had to wash my face and completely do it all over again. I guess the only good thing that came out of this was I got to buy some makeup haha.

So after my fiasco, I have learned to just do my own makeup because it looked 10 times better. I ended up buying:

-MAC Soft & Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish
The artist used this on me as a highlighter and I really loved the way it made my skin look.

-MAC Satin Lipstick `Captive`
she didn`t use this on me and I had to return the other lipstick that I bought from her that she used because I just couldn`t make it work so I picked this one up. It`s a beautiful dark cherry red that looked beautiful with my skin complexion and also perfect for fall.

Even though I completely hated my makeup, I enjoyed getting some new goodies at MAC since it has been forever and a day since I have been there. I will definitely still go there to buy makeup but not to do my makeup haha lesson learned.
