Who loves canned silkworms aka beondegi!! @_@

Hey everyone!! Not sure if you guys know what this is but it`s called beondegi in Korean. Basically, for those of you who don`t know what this is, it`s silkworm pupae. All I know is that so many people around the bay area, especially Koreans, love to eat these as snacks. Sounds freaky isn`t it? I am going to be honest with you and say that the smell is not appealing and the taste isn`t that great either. I can`t seem to understand why others go crazy over it. Who else tried this before. Do you like it?
