Maxiglide Flat Iron Review

I got this flat iron a couple of years ago and I loved it, then my sister broke it and I had to get another one. Ive had several flat irons before this one but this one is a lot better for my hair type and I wouldnt want to get any other flat iron after having this one for so long.

Pros: This flat iron has pins as well as a steam compartment to soften and hydrate the hair as its straightens it. These features are great for anybody with curly thick hair.

Cons: the pins can rip out your hair if you dont comb your hair well, prior to flat ironing it with the maxiglide. You also have to make sure that you release the steam button about 3 inches away from your scalp, if you dont take this precaution the steam can slightly burn your scalp. On the other hand, any flat iron has the potential to burn your scalp if you put it too close to the scalp.

Over all I love this flat iron, it has cut my straighten time in half and it always leaves my hair feeling silky, straight and healthy looking. I personally wouldnt recommend this flat iron to anyone with fine hair, or a person with slightly wavy to straight hair. If your hair is already straight I would just stick to the Chi or any other regular flat iron.
