This is another polish that I ordered from the Zoya Earth Day Promo. This is Zuza. Zuza is from the Summer 2012 collection: Beach & Surf. To generalize, the Beach part of the collection is creme finishes (except one, Tracie) and the Surf part of the collection is shimmery foil finishes. Zoya describes Zuza as a deep, saturated, oceanic turquoise with gold and silver metallic shimmer and a foil-like finish. Since I`m a fan for teal/turquoise polishes I knew this one was a must when I saw initial swatches of it. This one really reminds me of a mermaid`s tail. I know that is cliche for this kind of color, but is it not true? Just look at it! Application was nice. The polish was nearly opaque in the first coat but I did apply a second to be certain any thin areas were covered. I noticed that it was drying pretty quickly, sort of the way matte polishes do. It dried to a semi-matte... more satin, I suppose, finish. I didn`t really like that so I applied a high gloss top coat. I nearly forgot! I wanted to mention to be careful when it comes time to remove Zuza. It STAINS! I had some serious Smurf fingers. I got it all off, but it wasn`t pretty. This is one you definitely don`t want to rush and swirl your cotton pad to remove. Let it just set on the nail bed for a few seconds and pull straight down. I was being impatient and swirled and, my goodness, that was a mistake!
