My mom was kind enough to sent me a care package containing some goodies from home along with all the Zoya I ordered during and after the last promo which you can see here http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/zoya-haul-10/view. I had been giving my nails a bit of a break in anticipation of this package arriving so that I could try them out upon arrival. So once the box arrived yesterday I unpacked everything and then could not for the life of me decide what color combination to try out first. So after much deliberation I told my husband to pick one. lol Surprisingly he chose Valerie. Valerie is a lovely glittery fuchsia with copper glitter. Although I thought Valerie looked amazing I was just not so sure it was for me due to my pink aversion. However, once my base coat dried and I put on the first coat of Valerie I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to get pretty good coverage with one coat but I went ahead with a second anyhow and I feel it made the color much more vibrant in the end. As beautiful as Valerie was on her own, I couldnt resist the urge to use one of the Zoya Fleck Effect Mylar Glazes I had also ordered. I decided to layer Chloe over top then finish with the Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat. Chloe is the pink flakie of the set and contains gold and green flakie glitter that is brought to life when layered over darker polishes in my opinion. The colors reminded me a bit of Clarins 230 but with flakies of course. I for one, love the resulting manicure! What do you think?
WARNING: You may want to avert your eyes from the horror of my cuticles!
