Some of you may have heard, or even participated in, the fantastic promo Zoya just had. It was their Earth Day Promo. They do it each year. Basically, the individual polishes are marked 50% off but you have to meet a minimum of 6 polishes ordered. (easy!) Their hope is you`ll send in your old bottles of polish (that, perhaps you don`t use, are dried out, empty, etc.) and they`ll dispose of them properly. Alternatively, you can send those to places like women`s shelters. You don`t HAVE to do anything with your old polish, but that is part of what they are promoting for Earth Day: proper disposal, not just chucking in the garbage. I have had a massively growing Zoya wish list for some time and their promos are the perfect time to mark some of them off. I ended up ordering fifteen polishes. Two of them, however, are on back order. I should be getting those soon. Because of the number of polishes I ordered, I also received a couple of free samples (one of which is on back order, LOL!). I stuck with all bright, fun colors that I can wear in the spring and summer. Before making my order I was looking at my Zoya collection. While I have some brights in there, a good portion of it is darker, murky colors that are more appropriate for fall and winter. The first batch are from this years summer collection: Beach & Surf. These particular ones are from the surf part of the collection. From left to right they are Rory, Myrta, Kimber, and Zuza. Rory is a medium mauve pink with lilac tones, gold and silver reflective metallic shimmer accents, and a foil-like finish. Myrta is a warm medium orange coral with red undertone, gold and silver metallic shimmer, and a foil-like finish. Kimber is a rich, bright and saturated medium magenta pink with strong gold metallic shimmer and a foil-like finish. Zuza is a deep, saturated, oceanic turquoise with gold and silver metallic shimmer and a foil-like finish. This next batch is still from the 2012 summer collection, but is the other half: Beach. From left to right are Arizona, Shelby, and Wednesday. Arizona is a softened bright citrus orange with a muted cream finish. Shelby is a soft but colorful cherry blossom pink with an opaque cream finish. Wednesday is a faded dirty medium turquoise with green undertone and an opaque cream finish. These next ones are not from the same collections, but I stuck the pinks together. From left to right are Cassi, Happi, and Bijou. Cassi was from the Twist collection and is a light warm peachy-pink with coral tones and sparkling white gold shimmer. Happi was from the Reverie collection and is a pink metallic duo-chrome. A frosty hint of gold creates a unique peachy-pink. Bijous was from the Glitterati collection and is a very bright nearly-neon saturated coral pink with shimmering silver microglitter. The last batch is just a hodge podge. Yes, there is a pink that probably should have been photographed with the last set, but I didn`t want to break it into a set of 4 and then two. LOL! Just bare with me. From left to right are Reece, Dannii, and Bevin. Reece was from the Reverie collection and is a Rose metallic duochrome. A frosty hint of gold creates a unique oil slick rose gold. Danni was from the Intimate collection and is a medium orchid purple with pink and champagne highlights and flecks of silver matallic shimmer. Bevin was from the True collection and is a dusty, medium sage green with teal tones and a creamy opaque finish. Rounding off the actual products, I received a free sample of their 3-in-1 Remove+ nail polish remover. I`m excited to try this because, while I`ve always heard good things about it, I have never tried it myself. This will give me the perfect opportunity to test it out and see if it really does live up to the hype. In my box was also their acrylic color trays, which I always seem to get with my order. It features this years summer colors from the Beach & Surf collection. I already ordered all of them, except 5. It is still nice to have these, though, to reference back to. The very final item isn`t really a product. It is just their pamphlet that shows every single color they are currently offering from the company. It talks about Zoya a bit and then breaks down the colors by color family. I always keep these, even though I already own a couple of the older versions. Now I am just waiting on my last two polishes and 1 free sample to arrive. I anticipate they will be here in a couple of days. https://www.artofbeauty.com/rd/FC3D44 to participate in future promos and start filling your collection with amazing polishes!
