I was reading the fitness section of the newspaper during a break at work today and saw an article on the Zeo Sleep Manager. It`s designed to help you analyze your sleep and improve it. The Zeo Sleep Manager comes with a lightweight wireless headband, a bedside display, a set of online analytical tools, and an email-based personalized coaching program. The headband is worn while you sleep and tracks your actual sleep stages through the night and sends them wirelessly to the bedside display. It will display how you slept, including how much time you spent in REM and Deep sleep, which are critical for mental clarity, physical well-being and peak performance. The Zeo Sleep Manager has a SmartWakeAlarm which wakes you at your optimal point in your sleep cycle, which sounds horrible because I`d probably over sleep every day lol. It apparently also finds and adjusts factors that are stealing your Deep, REM & total sleep time and there is a coaching program to help guide you to a better sleep. Personally I never feel like I get enough sleep, but I actually don`t as I run normally on 5-6 hours on a week day and then make up for it on the weekends by sleeping about 10 hours lol.
Do you think you are getting the optimal amount of sleep?
Do you consistently sleep the same amount of hours every night and at the same time?
Do you feel energized and refreshed in the mornings? I sure don`t as I hit the snooze button lol.
