The equestrian Zara Phillips, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and the 14th in line of succession to the British throne, was convoked to join the team of British Eventing at the Olympic Games of London 2012.
According to the BBC, Zara, with 31 years old, said that "it`s amazing" to receive such an opportunity.
The athletes qualified for the Games of Athens in 2004 and Beijing in 2008, but injuries to her old horse, Toytown, prevented the participation on both occasions.
With the new mount, High Kingdom, Zara won the third place in the Selective Equestrian Bramhan, last weekend.
