After work, I was craving for some Vietnamese egg rolls so I decided to stop by a local Baguette to go and since I was hungry -- I came out with more food but of course to share with my boyfriend too!
What I ended up getting to eat since I was craving all sorts of foods:
Special "Dac Biet" Vietnamese Baguette Bread "Banh Mi" - This contains Vietnamese ham (two kinds), pate, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, the white kind of carrots - $3.75
$2 worth of Egg Rolls which is (2 for $1) filling is meat
$3 worth of Spring Rolls filling is shrimp
$1 worth of Sesame Ball "Banh Cam" filling is mung beans but the dark red/brown kind
Overall - This is more Vietnamese "snacks" then "actual" real food like pho, rice and what not but it was less than $10, not bad and they don`t charge tax. I haven`t had a Vietnamese Banh Mi in ages so it tasted so good when I bite into the sandwich, plus the bread`s buttered too, hehe.
What`s your favorite Vietnamese food, snack or dessert? Have you ever tried Vietnamese food before? Like it/dislike it - share your experiences with me! If you never tried any Vietnamese foods before these foods (above) are the most tested out food as well as Pho!
