Hello Luuuxers. I wanna blog about tortas. Well this is how I came to making them at home (as I usually buy them from restaurants). My friend Jenni and I were sitting around on a boring Sunday afternoon. I had not had any breakfast nor lunch! Neither had she. lol. So we were just bored and hungry trying to find out what to eat.
We debated about sushi, burgers, pizza, etc. But I didn`t wanna have to dress up to go anywhere. So I suggested getting tortas from a local place that sells them.
She then suggested, "let`s just make them ourselves". So we then agreed on pitching in half and half to get all the food items needed. This is what we got.
Avocados: 2 for $1.00
Lettuce: .88 cents
Tomato: I had it at home
Mexican Cream: She had it at home
Breads: 3 for $1.00
Ham: 1lb for $4.00
Queso Fresco: $3.00
So it came up to be pretty cheap and we made like six out of that. They`re pretty good. I love the combination of the avocado with the queso fresco the most.
I also warmed up the bread a bit, where its really moist from the center but with a crunchy layer on the outside.
My picture, DO NOT take.
