Hi everyone! My family and I decided to pay Costco a visit today. I love going there, but it has probably been about 5 months since I last been there! Mainly because it`s so far from where I live. But anyways, everyone knows that after a long time of shopping, we all get hungry. So my sibling and I decided to head to the "food court" part of Costco. I know that most people dislike the food there mainly because it`s so unhealthy. But I actually really like their food; cheap and pretty good.
After looking at their menu, we settled on getting the poutine. The serving size is quite large and the price ($4.50) is not bad at all. I am sure that most people know what a poutine is, but for those who don`t, it`s basically fries, gravy, and cheese curds.
-Fries: Crispy and seasoned.
-Gravy: In my opinion, I think it was too salty. But the consistency of it was good; not too thick and not too watery.
-Cheese curds: I believe these cheese curds are Gouda cheese. The size of the chunks are pretty decent. Some of the cheese is melted, but some aren`t.
Overall, I give this a 4/5. If you stop by Costco, and haven`t tried these yet, you definitely should. The price for this portion size is quite nice and is pretty tasty and yummy. The size is great for sharing! I know that some people are worried about the calories in this, but don`t worry, exercise will burn those bad boys off!
Have you tried this before? What is your favourite food from the menu?
