So coincidently, today I`m making spiced pear tart. It is an amazing tart to make and it`s perfect for Autumn when it`s cold out side and you are greeted by this festive tart :) (my mum`s making it as we speak haha)
Okay, so to make it you obviously need pears (cut in quarters) and put them in a pan with lots of sugar and flour to make a thick sauce :) leave them for a few minutes to thicken
For the pastry, you need butter and flour, just rub them together in a bowl till they resemble bread crumbs now add water to make them into a ball you can easily roll up. Wrap it in cling film and leave for half an hour in the fridge :)
After, cut the ball of dough in half and roll one half out to make the base of the pie in a cake tin ;)
Then fill it with pears and cover the top with any pattern you want of dough, (or maybe a lattice like in the picture) and now it`s ready to go in the oven. ENJOY XX :D
