YUM: Gluten-Free Cream Puffs!

Today was a semi-gloomy day and I thought having a couple of treats would cheer me up a bit. Plus, I`m studying for my finals, which are coming up in a couple of days. Ugh...too much coffee and too little sleep don`t mix too well.

So, I decided to check out this cute little Korean bakery by my place. It`s called Eat Cake and the best thing about this bakery is that they carry gluten-free baked goods and yummy cakes. I just recently found out that I can`t have gluten, which includes bread, pasta and anything that contains flour/wheat basically. Living without gluten has been challenging in the beginning but now, I live and breathe gluten-free :) lol. I don`t really know of any bakeries around my area that serve gluten-free goodies except for Eat Cake bakery.

Their customer service is superb and they apparently always offer samples to their customers. Just like any Asian bakeries, they carry different types of bread and cakes. I decided to get these two cream puffs; vanilla and chocolate, since they are completely gluten-free. These are sooo good! My favorite is probably the vanilla, but the chocolate one doesn`t disappoint either! The chocolate filling was actually quite thick and chocolate-y, which is a plus for me. Eat Cake use rice flour, which is why everything is either gluten-free or almost gluten-free. This is also why their goodies taste soo good!

These were $1.50 each, which I think is reasonable and definitely worth it! I`d give them 4.5/5. Compared to Papa Beard`s cream puffs, these are so much better! If you`ve never tried gluten-free baked goods, I would absolutely recommend you scout a gluten-free bakeries in your area and try their treats! You don`t have to be sensitive or allergic to gluten to enjoy them! :)
