A few months ago Yankee Candle introduced a new line of candles called Pure Radiance. These candles came in 3 sizes Petite, Medium and Large with a a selection of about 12 different fragrances. Even though that doesn`t sound like much their was a good variety and something for everyone whether you a fan of floral, food, fruity, or fresh they have you covered.
I was really excited to try these especially when I had a $5.00 of coupon dropping the petite jars from $10.99 to $5.99 so I picked up one of everything that enticed me. The first one I chose to test to determine if I liked these candles I had bought was Petals. I`m not a huge floral fan but this was nice and feminine without being overwhelming on cold throw. After lighting this I have to say I was more than just disappointed. These candles shouldn`t be called Pure Radiance theirs nothing radiant about these they are more like Pure CRAP! This is a small candle it shouldn`t take long for it to develop a nice wax pool oh no! this one burned almost 3hrs before pooling the pool was small and not deep and their was no throw to the candle.
After sampling Petals I lost my interest for the rest of the candles and did initiate a return. Yankee has a great policy its jar for jar or store credit. I did not want any small jars so I took the store credit and boy oh boy was I glad I did the manager gave me full value on every candle not the $5.99 price I paid after coupon but $10.99 per candle. I did pick up a few things while I was there that you will see in a future haul. I still have about $27 remaining on my store credit in which I will use for the upcoming Tartapalooza sale. I already have my list made for the upcoming tart sale and can`t wait.
