The Xperia U is on the cheaper end on Xperia`s line of phones, however it is better than the price suggests.
It costs around 10 pounds a month on contract with the phone for free and hundreds of minutes, texts and monthly data.
The phone runs on Android Gingerbread, but has an update to Ice Cream sandwich, but not Jellybean. It has a fast processor, a great screen resolution and a great design. The best part of the design is that it has a mood light which changes, and when you are viewing pictures on the phone, the light changes to the main colour of the photo. The bottom part of the phone is removable and can be switched to different colours. So the design is like marmite, you either love it or hate it. I really love the concept and find it stylish.
I really would like to get this phone, and is nearly perfect- but there is one drawback. It`s a major drawback. It only has 5GB of space for apps, photos and videos and is not expandable, so you can`t put in s SD card/ micro SD card.
I would get this phone, but I`m the type of person who takes loads of photos and downloads loads of apps, so this phone doesn`t fulfil my needs.
