Earlier this year X-factor winner Alexandra Burke teamed up with MUA Makeup Academy to launch a new Lipstick range!!
The lipstick is double ended on one side there is a matte lipstick and on the other side a highlighting gloss, which can be used to create volume and a fuller lip ( not something i need )
All together there are eight shades ranging from nudes to dark !! All of which have matte lipsticks.
The lipstick can be applied with highlighter at the centre of the lips to create a very full lip illusion or all over to create a very glossy look.
You can also just use the gloss to create a sheer pearly look.
I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about this product some say that the lip gloss is very gritty and doesn`t feel smooth on the lips, but i think for £3 each its still a really good buy. I know already that MUA`s Lipsticks are very good quality as i have a lot of their old range of lipsticks. So i don`t think that the lip gloss would be a problem as i prefer matte lips and i don`t need a lip pluming agent anyway. I really like the darker brown shades, these will work really well against my skin tone and maybe the darker pink/coral shade too ^.^
