Vince Camuto Toleo Sandals - Navy
So close, yet so far away.
What I mean by that is: such a great discount, if only they were one size smaller. I already have them in the Mint `Mojito` color, so I really shouldn`t get another pair. But this is my signature color (If I had a signature color, navy would be it.) and they`re so comfortable and these are only $40 >_<
But I know better than to spend even $1 on shoes that don`t fit me. Maybe with some insoles??
7 For All Mankind - The Skinny in Shiny Polished Black
I`m loving leather lately...Leather everything please...just kidding.
Realistically, I`d sooner get these from Zara if they go on sale or these from F21 if they were available in my size.
J. Crew Blythe Silk Blouse
I love the feeling of silk. Luxurious to the touch and agrees with my skin. Office appropriate and just good looking. I hope to get a hold of one the next time J. Crew has them on sale unless I find something similar elsewhere.
Kate Spade Gold Coast Sierra
This is almost too similar to the Chanel Petite Shopping Tote. However I find it a little bit more functional, because it`s bigger at about 13 x 13 inches compared to the PST which is about 9 x 9 inches. So it has the potential of being a decent work bag if you have a relatively smaller laptop and then could fit a few manila folders, wallet, cell phone, keys what have you. Both bags have an 8 inch handle drop.
Another functional quality: it has a zip-top closure, which I prefer to an open bag with magnetic closure that the Chanel PST has.
The price is probably the most attractive, at only $199 on sale right now, compared to original price of $458, compared to the PST which is around $2000 now (?).
I could definitely see myself using this as an everyday bag. However, I`m not sure how comfortable the straps would be once I put all my belongings inside it. I don`t want to have a bag that puts a dent in my shoulders.
If you had to pick one, which one would you choose? The Kate Spade version or the timeless Chanel?
Other items I`ve been drooling after lately have to do with leather, colored bottoms (particularly forest green, burgundy, amethyst, anything jewel-toned really), quilted flats (only if they have lots of padding to support my strange feet and do not rub my toes uncomfortably).
I`ve also been hunting around for a pair of black ankle boots in leather-y material., 3-4 inch heel, round or almond toe. They must be office appropriate, durable, and most importantly affordable. That`s a tall order, but at least I know what I want.
I guess I`m finally getting into fall fashion. I`ve given up on praying for warm weather around here. Although we do typically get Indian summer in early fall.
