After a bit of silence Microsoft has finally released some more information about their new RT OEMs that will be coming out soon. Already confirmed were the Asus Tablet 600 and Microsofts own-brand Surface RT. But Microsoft has now also confirmed that Dell, Lenovo, and Samsung will have their own RT Devices that will run the windows tablet programs as well. Screen sizes will be 10.1 and 11.6 inches, weight between 520g and 1200g, and they will be between 8.35mm and 15mm thick. The 520g and 8.35mm one will be considerably thinner and lighter than the iPad 2s and 3s and the new Sansung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Batteries are expected to provide 25 to 42 watt-hours with them lasting about 8 and 13 hours with max output for HD Video. Microsoft has also been working with several developers to make the touchscreen a single-chip design, making the heat output much less and allowing for a smaller size. Still no prices have been set for the new RT OEMs.
