Will eating smaller meals curb my hunger?

I am writing this post as an overview from an article I read, link below.

Interesting article, says that eat 5-small- meals- a day does not work for everyone. The calorie for small snack has gone from ~360 to ~580 over 30 years. There is no point of eating without really being hungry. It is best if you eat when you are hungry and eat what you are eating and how much of it.
