Hi everyone. Last time I made some rice pudding but with dark brown sugar slabs. This time I made it with white sugar instead. And I used a different recipe. The last recipe had rice flour, wheat starch, and cornstarch. This one calls for rice flour, wheat starch and chestnut starch/flour. I wanted to try this to see if there is any difference in taste. Apparently there is not that much of a difference. The only difference depends on what kind of sugar you use to make this. So of course the white sugar ones will taste a little different than the dark brown sugar slabs. The texture will be different too. The ones made with dark brown sugar slabs has a more chewy texture which as the ones made with regular table sugar is more soft. So if you want to try this recipe instead, I`ll post the link below. Thanks for reading.
