Whats in Januarys` Glossybox? X

Greetings everyone! Today I received the much anticipated January Glossybox, this post will just show you what I got in my box and my first impressions! I`ve read lots of reviews about Glossybox where bloggers have reviewed each product upon receiving it, in my opinion it is impossible to tell how well the products work for you until you`ve tried them for a certain length of time so after I have used the products some more I will update this post and talk more extensively about each individual item. This review will be more descriptive opposed to me giving my opinions.

For those that are unfamiliar with Glossybox and what they offer, it is basically a subscription service whereby you pay £10 a month (+ £2.95 postage and packaging) and you receive 5 niche/luxury products. This months was a limited edition valentines theme and I was thrilled to see the bright pink packaging (absolutely go weak at the knees for anything pink) and once again it came beautifully packaged as usual. This is the third box I received so far and I`ve not been disappointed yet... I think £10 doesn`t go very far these days so to get five products you`ve never tried before and that you may potentially love is worth it, well for me anyway. I have to say I like my little luxuries and I love trying new products even more so I adore Glossybox.

1. EYEKO Skinny Eyeliner
GlossyBox says: "Get a handle on your eyeliner for precise definition and intense colour with a long-lasting finish"
My first impressions- I love the packaging and the pencil itself, it is so sleek, funky and the design makes it comfortable to hold. I`ve swatched this already, it is pigmented and glides on smoothly. I received this in the colour `powder pink`, its more of a pale grey colour. I will use in the waterline for `bigger eyes`. This eyeliner was a full sized pencil and retails at £9.50 per pencil!

2. DAVINES Moisturising Balm
Glossybox says: "The authentic result of our commitment is a precious line of intelligent products, rich with natural products"
My first impression- This is a moisturising balm with 98% natural derived ingredients with organic carthame oil, it can be used on face, hair or body apparently. For me, natural ingredients is always a positive with having sensitive skin, I find that the more natural ingredients a product has the better it is on my skin. I am most looking forward to using this in my tired tresses, my hair is in some serious need of moisture so I can`t wait to see the results of this product. I adore the packaging, I think it is so cute & I`m a sucker for nice packaging at any rate. The lotion is creamy white and the smell is neither pleasant or unpleasant but I`m not sensitive to smell as such.

Full size product (150ml) retails at £17.40
I received 75ml which is roughly worth £8.70!

3. DAVINES Cleansing Nectar
Glossybox says: "The authentic Davines formula for the beauty and delight of every woman"
My first impression- Again this has 98% natural ingredients with carthame oil, this nectar is for hair and body so it is multi-purpose as was the last product you can use it on either and see which works best for you. The packaging is okay, nothing big time and I thought it would smell nicer but the proof is in the pudding so either of the latter do not mean that much to me if the product does what it say it does.

Full size product (280ml) retails at £18.50
I received 90ml which is roughly worth £5.95!

4. FAB Gentle Body Wash
Glossybox says: "A moisturising, irritant-free everyday cleanser ideal for even the most sensitive skin"
My first impression- I like the fact this is allergy tested and safe for sensitive skin, it means I can try this without worrying about irritation.
Full size product (226.8g) retails at £13.00
I received 56.7g which is roughly worth £3.25!

5. MURAD Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer- Dewy finish
Glossybox says: "Oil-free primer ignites a radiant glow, powered by light-enhancing minerals"
My first impression: The smallest of the samples but enough to test and try. Since I am always on the search for a primer to make my makeup last longer and to control the oil I am super eager to try this. Sometimes all the mattifying products can create a powdery finish so the dewy finish this promotes is appealing to me. It is a tinted primer that blends in smoothly (when swatched on hand).

Full size product (30ml) retails at £29.00
I received 5ml which is roughly worth £4.83

So this is the full contents of this months box; overall I am pleased with what was in it. I`ve never tried any of these brands before so thank you Glossybox for the opportunity to try these! As I said before, in order to give these products a fair chance I will have to try them out over the next couple of weeks and then I`ll report back with what I think of each item and whether its worth purchasing full size.
Thanks to Chris` maths we roughly calculated that the value of this box is £32.23, ha!
Thanks for reading!
