What Lilly Brought To The Half Marathon

Before I left for my half marathon I had to pack my bags accordingly so I`d have everything I`d need to cope with the pain, blisters, scrapes, and also have my nutritional needs. I had packed my foot padding to prevent blisters, bandages, polysporin, tokuhon analgesic patches, ibuprofen, omega 369 supplements(not shown), chia seeds, apple sauce for pre race fuel, gu gels for fuel during the race, my pineapple melon gatorade, my waist belt, Ryders polarized sunglasses, and my jelly watch. Out of all of the items I thankfully did not have to use the polysporin and bandages, but did use the tokuhon patches, took ibuprofen, omega 369, and chia seeds. I did get a blister since I didn`t wrap my big toe well enough, but it subsided in 2 days. Foolishly I decided to not use my own GU energy gels and bring my waist belt with my gatorade, but I will make a separate post about that after I am done recovering as we are still in the pain at the moment lol.

Have you ever gotten a blister from walking or running?
Do you pop them or leave them alone to go away by themselves?
Have you tried any energy gels? If so which one do you like? I can tell you I do not like that hippie Vega crap.
