To properly protect your skin from the sun this summer, you will need to apply a good sunscreen. Even if your makeup contains an SPF, please don`t think that you are protected. Makeups do not use a full spectrum sunscreen (with the exception of Dior I believe). A full spectrum product will protect you from both types of Ultraviolet Ray, UVA and UVB. Ideally, you want a product that has an SPF of at least 50, and it does not "stack." What I mean by that is if you use a moisturizer that is SPF 10 and a foundation that is SPF 20, you do not have an SPF 30 on, just 20.
You also want to make sure to apply a high SPF on your neck, chest, shoulders, and hands. These areas are very sensitive to sunspots, as they see the daylight the most.
Also, after getting sun, make sure you properly hydrate your skin. You want to get a moisturizer with soothing qualities, so look for ingredients like colloidal oatmeal or aloe. Happy summer!
If you protect yourself, you can avoid looking like a leathery lizard in your 40s, and pull the second or third husband of your dreams with no problem at all!
