I`m naturally tan but live on the coast of Oregon, where we see all rain and barely any sun-even during the summer time. So, for someone who is naturally dark skin and seeing hardly any sun my skin is pretty pale. During what we call the warmer months around here i am constantly using self tanner and bronzers to give my skin some color.
So, when i saw that Wet N Wild put our more of there coloricon bronzers i B-blined it straight to the makeup section to pick one up. The one i chose is "Don`t be shellfish" and a mix between a bronzer and a blush.
My first thought was how cute the bronzer was with the light pink seashell and starfish. The bronzer itself is pretty dark with no traces of orange which i appreciate..the blush is light peachy pink and has a pretty harsh sheen to it if not applied lightly.
When i tried this for the first time i mixed my brush into the bronzer and blush together and applied it to my cheeks, bad idea. It came off as muddy cakey shiny on my face. The next day i applied the bronzer by itself to contour and then applied the blush seperately as well and it looked alot better.
This product does have a decent amount of pigmentation, it does have a sheen to it-more so the blush so if you have oily skin like me you may want to be careful when applying this product.
I picked this bronzer/brush up for around 4 dollars and change. Its huge and worth the price. I think i may pick up a few more of the other ones.
Have you tried any of Wet N Wilds coloricone bronzers? Whats your favorite bronzer to use during the summer time?
Thanks for reading!
