Guys, you can say anyhting about Miley, but this girl is definitely no ordinary celebrity. Las year Miley had everyone talking about her performance on the VMAs and this year she did it again, but for a good cause.
This is the first time in my life that I see this happening and I love the idea. Miley had a homeless man accept her award for her and he gave and amazing speech about helping the homeless people of Los Angeles.
Here is a piece of what he had to say: `All over this city Ive cleaned your hotel rooms. Ive been an extra in your movies. Ive been an extra in life, the man said. Though I may have been invisible to you on the streets, I have a lot of the same dreams that brought you here tonight. Los Angeles, entertainment capitol, has the largest percentage of homeless youth in America. The music industry will make over $7 billion this year and outside these doors are 54,000 who have no place to call home. If you want to make a powerful change in the world right now, please join us by going to Mileys Facebook page. A dream you dream alone is only a dream, but a dream you dream together is reality.`

I mean, this is awsome. I don`t know if he was the one who wrote it or if he had people write it for him and he just went there and read it, either way it`s very moving and I love how Miley gave her space and instead of going and doing a normal speech she choose to make something bigger with the space she was given.
I know a lot of peole don`t like Miley I don`t necessarily agree with everything she does, but I have to say that I respect her. The way she just doesn`t care about what people say about her and just be herself is fantastic and it`s a good thing in the end. I know that all the sexual stuff that she does is bad for kids and all, and I agree with that, kids shouldn`t be allowed to go to her concerts, but she also still have a good heart and she still cares about helping people.
I really wish this would become a trend between the celebrities. Just imagine in every award show everyone that won something had someone with a good cause to represent and deliver a speech about it? I personally think it would be way more amazing than celebrities promoting themselves all the time like we always had.
Anyways, let me know what you guys think
