I am on a 4 week fitness goal of trying to lose around 10 lbs. They say that if you lose more than 2-3 lbs per week, you are in danger of losing muscle rather than fat. Additionally, people who lose less weight per week actually tend to keep up and maintain the weight loss better than those who lose a larger amount quickly.
My goals are to do cardio 5x per week, and then when I lose 3 lbs, I`m going to add in strength training 2 or 3 x per week.
Dietary habits need to change with me, as I tend to eat out A LOT.. hopefully by changing this, I will also be able to save money and use that money to buy some more shoes hehe..
I am also going to be taking vitamins and green tea pills in assisting my weight loss and fitness goals.
