My fiance`s brother and his fiancee got married last Friday and yes it was Friday the 13th lol, their wedding gave me a bunch of ideas, but also turned me off from wanting a bouquet like centerpiece as theirs was $45 and they had 14 tables so you do the math that is a lot of money on centerpieces I don`t want to spend. I was browsing project wedding and came across reception centerpieces and I am pretty much set on doing the floating candle centerpieces since you can buy a set of 36 candles(3 varying lengths) so I could do 12 tables for $136 which sure beats $630 lol. I figure I would take the candle vases home after the ceremony if no one wanted to take them as they`d be nice to store dried flowers and what not for decor after the wedding. I probably would not do the led light in the vases as I looked up how much they were on wholesale sites and it bumped pricing up some more so no thank you. Now I just have to figure out what type of flower or objects to stick in the vases with the floating candles.
What type of flowers would you use?
What would you have for your wedding centerpiece?
Would you re-use the vases like me?
