In order to increase the alert sponsored by the United Nations, We Are Water Foundation launched a campaign with the slogan, "We eat more water we drink," and designed an application for iPhone and iPad called "Water We Eat."
This application includes recipes from different countries and each recipe specifies the water footprint of each dish. The water footprint shows not only the water required for cooking particular recipe, but also used to produce the food itself. For example, to make a precise codfish bras are 6013 liters of water from the production process to the manufacture.
The application "Water We Eat" is a symbolic cost of 0.79 Euros, which will serve to subsidize four new projects to develop the Foundation in 2012 in collaboration with organizations such as Unicef, Foundation Vicente Ferrer, Education Without Borders or Oxfam.
We are Water Foundation, an initiative Roca, has enjoyed the presence of several branches of the brand throughout the world to promote maximum possible actions relating to World Water Day.
