If you`re visiting New York City for the first time. One of the way you can tour around New York City is via the Waterway. It`s a ferry that takes you several key neighborhoods in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.
Today my family and I visited Smorgasburg which is the food fair that happens every Saturday in Williamsburg during the summer. This year they had DOUBLE the amount of food vendors. And it was such a nice day to be out. I had a pull pork sandwich and a Hash Egg. Both were awesome.
From there we took the Ferry mentioned above which is $4 each way. You can probably buy a day pass, not sure how much though. There`s a top and bottom level. You can take some amazing pictures from the ferries and even the port they stop at. (Can you spot the Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower, Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport???) We decided to take it to Dumbo and walk around a bit. They have the Carousel by the water there and a few very nice playgrounds.
Talk the TALK
1) Have you ever toured NYC by boat?
2) Do you have to commute or go on boats?
