This is a super super super late post lol and there are more to come. I`m finally sorting through my pictures, editing them, and writing up my posts. This post should`ve been posted way back in January because that`s when dineLA was happening and Waterloo & City was one of the restuarants that I tried out. Waterloo & City is a tradtional British gastropub. It`s a restaurant that serves gourmet cuisine, but with a very casual atmosphere. They have both inside and outside seating. My friend and I were seating outside. The pricing was $34 for a three course meal.

- Chicken Liver & Foie Gras Parfait, Toasted Brioche, Sweet Potato Jam
- Tuna Tartare, Fried Piquillo Pepper, Avocado

- Chicken & Apricot Pot Pie
- Roast Pork Chop, Fried Pork Belly, Apple Squash

- Doughnuts, Bavarian Creme, Rum Glaze, Raspberry Sorbet
- Sticky Toffee Pudding, Salted Caramel, Ice Cream

The food here was really delicious. Before going to the restaurant, I checked Yelp to see what people said about the food and I tried to order some of the popular dishes. I can`t say much about the things my friend ate because I didn`t try it, but she really enjoyed everything that she ordered. I think her favorite dish was the Tuna Tartare appetizer.
The Chicken Liver & Foie Gras Parfait was amazing. It was super creamy and smooth; it just melted in my mouth. It tasted delicious with the brioche. It might not look like it in the picture, but the Chicken & Apricot Pot Pie was huge. I barely made a dent in it and I boxed it to-go. The crust was very flakey and it came out super hot from the oven. There are big pieces of chicken and a lot of filling. It was so good, but I was so stuffed that I barely ate 1/3 of it. The Sticky Toffee Pudding and Doughnuts are two of their most popular dessert choices. I asked the waiter which one was better and he said they`re both really good. I ended up going with the Doughnuts and it was a good choice. It comes out warm with the three different sauces, with one being a sorbet. I think I liked it best paired with the creme. I also thought the plating was really cute and fun.
Overall, I had a great dining experience at Waterloo & City and I`m definitely going to go back. I`m bringing some of my friends here the next time we go out for dinner haha.
