One of my favorite eyeshadows from Mac happens to be a color called "Deep Truth" and it is a shimmery navy blue color. I think I like the color for a few different reasons. For one, it is a really great color for a smokey eye but also, it is such a unique shade. I can only speak for myself and I have seen a few navy blue shades but this one caught my eye the most. The added shimmer looks really great on the eye. It does not swatch well on my arm but when I use Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base, it really does help intensify the eyeshadow. I definitely think this is a must have shade but surprisingly, I don`t wear this color too often. The color is something that I would consider a "night-time shade," meaning that I would more likely be wearing it at night rather than the daytime. That is also a reason why I don`t usually reach for it often. Fortunately, I have found ways to wear it making it "daytime appropriate" and without it looking dramatic at all. I use it as an eyeliner for my upper lash line. It sounds so obvious but I had a lot of trouble getting it to be pigmented enough. When I wouldU apply it would not show up as rich as I would like. My solution was using a one dollar liquid liner from E.L.F in ash and then apply deep truth on top while it was still a little wet and BAM! It adds a really nice touch to your eyes because usually people wear black or brown liner but the shimmery navy blue with some mascara is a great look. I feel like this helps me branch out and experiment with more colors. Maybe soon I`ll be wearing bright blue eyeliner or even hot pink!
