I had to stop off at Walmart today to pick up a couple house items and to get some stuff for my son`s Easter basket. While I was there I, of course, swung by the cosmetics section. I can`t help it.. you all know how it is. You go into the store for one thing and suddenly find yourself looking at makeup.
There have been a couple of products that I have been saying I was going to get: brush guards and the NYC bronzer. I did find them both. .....and a couple more items. :-) I got two packs of the Brush Guards. I have never used them, but they always get good reviews. With them being so convenient in Walmart, I grabbed 2 packs. I just saw the variety pack which contains: 1 extra small, 2 small, 2 medium, and 1 large. For 6 guards, it was right around $6.
Next, I grabbed the NYC bronzer in Sunny. Everyone seems to adore this blush so I finally jumped on the bandwagon... extremely late. I didn`t realize just how cheap the packaging seemed until I got home and opened it. It feels like it wants to disconnect from its back "hinge." As long as it doesn`t completely fall apart on me, I`m okay with cheap packaging, though. I`m paying for the product inside.
The final items were lipsticks. Next to nail polish, I love lipsticks. My lipstick drawer is...just crazy. Its nearly as bad as my collection of polish. I picked up 1 Cover Girl and 2 Revlons. The Cover Girl one is in Fairytale. The Revlons are (left to right in the photo showing the actual color) Coralberry & Siren. All of the lipsticks are quite bright. They`ll be perfect for spring and summer.
What with my lack of hauls recently, I think this weekend sort of makes up for that. LOL!
