This is a good idea because a lot of people use their iPhone for their alarm clock and use their iPad for recipes, so it makes sense to have docks in certain locations like next to the bed or in the kitchen. The problem I see with this docking system is although it is nice to have it right on the wall, I find the brackets to be obtrusive. This one is made by Dockem and you can get them from http://Amazon.com. They don`t damage your wall because of the 3M Command Adhesives which can hold up to 5 pounds and no screws! It installs quickly and serves a good purpose, I am just not a fan of the way the brackets look. I would have designed it differently, maybe using a simple thin silver curved shelf that sticks out from the wall about a 1/2". That would be a lot cleaner than thick heavy duty looking brackets.
