VS Pink Bralette First Impressions

After a long week of exams, I decided to take a break and head to Victoria`s Secret to check out their `exclusive` fashion show goods (I still need to catch up on the highlights). Unfortunately the things I did like were sold out of my size so I decided to head over to Pink and see if I liked anything there. I took a quick look around and spotted their bralettes. I tried on their caged bralette that was spotted on Ariana Grande during the fashion show and I thought there were too many straps going on, which I did not like. So I then decided to try on their lacy bralettes. There were various colours to choose from such as black, white, red, green, leopard, and a nude/beige colour. But sadly again my size was sold out in all the colours but black and white. I was really happy to have been able to have found my size in the black!

First Impressions:

-Sizing: Unlike regular bras, these bralettes do not come in specified sizes such as 32/34/36 A/B/C/D/DD. Instead they are sized from XS/S/M/L. Do not be worried if you are not sure which size you should wear because on the top of each size label, it indicates what range of bra sizes fits. When I tried on the `appropriate` size, I find that the recommended size was a bit on the smaller size. So I decided to try the next size up and I found that it fits the rib cage better but the cup area was gapping. Since I really like the bralette, I ended up getting the `recommended` size and over time, I think the material would stretch out and fit better. So if you are interested in getting one, I recommend that you go and try it out in person to see which size fits you best. But if online is your only option, I would say size down just in case the cup area is too big.

-Material: The bralette I got is covered in lace and is made of a stretchy kind of material.

-Comfort Level: Even if the bralette was a bit on the smaller end, I found that it is super comfy to wear. A lot more comfortable than wearing a bra! I find that there is enough support for you to get about during the day and could also be a lounging bra on lazy days.

-Price: If you are interested in getting yourself one, it costs $34.95 CAD.

-Caution: The only tip I have when trying on a bralette is to be careful of the tags. Since the `recommended` size was a bit small, I found the tags and the plastic tabs to scrap and `cut` my skin. After trying these bralettes on, I ended up having a few red marks here and there.

Overall, I am happy with my little `pick me up` during the exhausting week of exams but it will be over soon!

Have you tried their bralettes before?
