Venus de Milo is a famous sculpture from around 100 to 130 BC. I got to see it this past weekend and while I admire it, I was not blown away. The biggest amazement to me is how something over 2000 years old can survive so long. When I first saw it I was thinking what happened to the arms. Was it sculpted without the arms or did they break off. After returning home from my trip, I did some research online and saw that the arms were speculated to be there but lost over the ages.
1. Do you enjoy visiting museums?
2. Are you more of a sculptures or a paintings type of person?
Pic is mines obviously.
