Recently, China revealed its clone of a Austrian picturesque village, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Hallstatt, which cost over $940 million to complete. It is half an hour away from Huizhou, China near the Pearl River Delta.
I like the idea and concept because you can get some of the tourist feeling without having to purchase the plane ticket, hotel rooms, at a greater expense in Europe, but then again I wish that I was in China to enjoy such a great experience.
What do you think?? Was it a good idea for China to replicate an European city to a tee? Would you visit if you had the chance?
