Yes you read that right the ever so popular Apple iPhone is going prepaid!
This is great for the commitment phobes like be who hate contracts.
I`ve been a Virgin Mobile customer for over a year what I like is you get what you pay for your not overpaying for added services right now I have the HTC Wildfire S and pay $25 a month for 300 minutes, unlimited web, and text thats a steal no other service provider offers that. Yes Virgin Mobile did increase their plan prices but until I upgrade my phone I dont have to upgrade my plan. Even when I do upgrade my phone plans are still reasonable.
On with the iPhone so I got an email last week from Virign Mobile directing me to their website where they were introducing the iphone 4 and 4s for sale starting June 29th and that I could sign up to know when the sale went live. I did sign up for the sale but dont think I will be purchasing off the bat as the phone isnt cheap since its off contract your looking at about $600-$650 for a prepaid cell phone (thats more than rent here) I do want one and may get it eventually.
The plans on the iPhone do help justify shelling out the price for an iPhone plans start at just $35 for 300 Minutes Unlimited text and web. They go up from their $45 for 1200 minutes unlimited text and web. and $55 for unlimited everything.
They are also offering a promo if you use automatic bill pay you will get $5 off every months bill.
So will any of you be caving and going for the prepaid iPhone?
