Iv always been obsessed with lip products, a good percent of my collection is definitely lip balm. When i first started getting into watching beauty channels on youtube i came across pinkie charm and her videos on vintage sister and fell in love with the flavours, this was a few years ago now I`m not sure why i haven`t bought some sooner!
I never knew about vintage sister before i saw the videos so ill tell you a little bit about them!
vintage sister opened in 2003 with there line of `lip lickers` these are flavours that you may remember from your childhood or just things that you may even love today! the range has now expanded and has all kinds of flavours. some more towards adults with there balms that smell like alcoholic beverages, even ones that smell like cake! all of there lip balms are made by them in the USA and none of them are ever tested on animals (yay!)
if you want to know more about them such as how they got started they have a our story page on there website.
so after my long intro ill get into the haul!
i came across the website again the other week and noticed they had some new summer balms out (i think these are limited so grab them while you can! ) and decided to pick up a few of them.
the first one that caught my eye was snow cone! its on the website as - A sweet, crushed ice summer favourite with notes of juicy lime and fresh lemon, red cherries and sweet watermelon. All the summer memories in a delicious lip balm flavour.
the second one i got was pistachio ice cream its on the website as - A yummy ice cream classic! this flavour offers a aromatic pistachio top note blanched with milky, sweet caramel and creamy vanilla.
and the third was circus peanut! this one was limited to there summer collection a while ago (maybe 2010?) then it got put into there permanent collection because it was so popular.
I`m really glad this stayed in the collection as it smells yum! the description is - If you have ever heard of circus peanuts than you`re familiar with this flavour. forget the strange shape and weird name of this candy and focus on the sweet taste. this delicious balm is full of banana, a hint of orange and fluffy marshmallow folded in for extra flavour.
when iv tried all these balms out i will definitely let you know what i think! have you tried Vintage sister before? are flavoured lip balms your thing?
