Vietnamese Tom Rim (Caramel Prawns)

I believe these are prawns? Or shrimp, I`m not quite sure but I think these are prawns and will call them prawns. My mom prepared this <strong>Vietnamese Tom Rim</strong> (known as Caramel Prawns in English) for lunch this afternoon with rice and soup (Tofu Soup which I posted before). For someone whose not a prawn/seafood person, I really enjoyed these. I prefer to peel the skin off but you don`t necessarily have to as the skin is edible but it`s crunchy. When you eat the prawns you get a mixture of tastes: sweet, salty, and savory! If you`re ever at an Asian restaurant, you should give these a try! =)
