I came home to a delicious homemade bowl of Vietnamese Chicken Congee (Chao Ga) prepared by my mom. She uses a whole chicken to put in the congee then to top the congee off, I add green onions, topped with dried garlic and the most important is the Chinese long doughnut. The doughnut and dried garlic is an absolutely must for me top the congee with some soy sauce and it`s bomb!
