Yay for Vietnamese food again! Since I found out my friend owned the restaurant I`ve been going to over the years we decided to have a girls day to check out other places. We went to a place quite closer to us than where her restaurant was located ( much closer ) She ordered the "Com Bo Luc Lac" (Shaken Beef w/ Rice) this time and I ordered "Bun Tom Thit Nuong Cha Gio" (Noodles with grilled shrimp, grilled pork, and egg rolls) It was only $8.50 for the entire bowl! Such a bargain compared to the Com Bo Luc Lac at her place.
The meal included:
Shredded cucumber and carrots
Pork Egg Rolls
The meal was decent. I felt like the egg rolls were too americanized. The restaurant wasn`t very organize... 3 different people came to take our order and we had to tell them every time that we had already ordered. The shrimp on the stick was very odd to me - I`m used to the jumbo shrimps they give that aren`t on a stick. I can`t complain though, good, filling meal for $8.50 is a very good price to me. :)
Have you guys tried this? I`ve seen it on Luuux many times. Would you like to try it? Have you have shrimp served like that?
