Vegas for the Non-Clubber

My first trip in over 10 years was to Las Vegas. Although I am not too fond of the clubbing scene where sweaty people are bumping and grinding on a one foot square tile, I still managed to have loads of fun -- by GAMBLING!!! Haha.

Casinos here are massive, maze-like and 24/7. I don`t think you can ever be bored in Vegas. There are heaps of shops to visit, that you can actually pack with an empty bag and leave Vegas overpacked lol.

I stayed in Bellagio through an awesome deal my boyfriend and I found through There`s lots to see in New Vegas, but Old Vegas in Fremont seemed like its name, old. The casinos looked old and so did the machines. As always, there is also lots to eat.

We visited Pink`s Famous Hot Dog restaurant. Boy, do they pile on the toppings! We thought the dogs were skinny, but they almost qualified as sausages to me. They were extremely filling and yummers. :P Kind of pricey for hot dogs, but definitely worth a try!

The best deal on a meal was Ellis Island Brewery. It`s a little off the strip and the streets leading to there can look shady, but my boyfriend had the largest Chicken Fried Steak along with my large Roast Beef sandwich. The beers there are only $2 which they brew on site. The bill came out to $21 and we were stuffed!

We walked almost everywhere and I always feel that walking is the best way to explore, take in and embrace your destination spot.

I had a fairly adventurous vacation while also fun and exciting in its own way. I`m sure many others out there has had crazier and wilder experiences. ;)
