Today I went a little festive and painted my nails for valentines day. I have been seeing valentine nails a lot latly because it was getting close to Valentine s Day. These nails were really fun to do. Usually most of them didn`t come out to good because I can`t paint my nails for my life! Ha-ha I used a white by the brand Pure Ice and Ruby- Ruby by the brand Sinfulcolors. Every time I go to Target, I`m always tempted to get these polishes. They have a wide variety of colors, and they`re so inexpensive. I believe the bottles are about 1.99. The bottles are cute and easy to store (they kind of look like OPIs nail polishes, almost the same design of the bottle, and the brushes are great, they apply evenly and hold the polish well. They have a fairly thick brush width, which I like because it can cover almost my whole nail in one swipe. Definitely a must have. I own way too many of these polishes. These are by far my favorite polishes and I refuse to buy any other brand. I have never tried Essie or OPI so I cannot compare them. I would love to try Essie, or OPI, or china glaze but they are just way too expensive for me. But I really want to try them. But overall the sinfulcolors are all pretty pigmented and come out to be true to their color. First I started with a base coat to ensure that my nail polish stays on. Then I took the red color from Sinfulcolors and applied that to my whole nail. Then taking the white color from the brand Pure Ice I made a little heart towards the start of my nail by the cuticle. This was really tricky to do especially for me because I cant make designs on my nails and this was the best I ever done, LOL. Then I made a white, thin, band as a French tip. Of course I got nail polish on my nail so I just took a cotton swab with nail polish remover on it and removed the excess polish. I made sure to let the red polish dry completely before I started my design. UGH, I would never want to work at a nail salon, haha. After I applied a top coat and I was done, finally. Literally this took me forever because I kept messing up. I think Ill just stick to painting my nails one solid color.
Whats your favorite nail polish Brand? How was your valentine`s day!
