I recently took a small day trip to the USA for some shopping in Buffalo, and I have lots to share.
Despite the fact that we have Walmart in Canada, I often go when I am in the USA since there are plenty of items that are exclusive to the USA. I also make a point to visit Walgreens when I am in the US - I even have a Walgreens points card!
So between these the two `Wal`s I got some great items I have been eying from north of the border.
I went to Walmart specifically looking for No Rub Acetone Power Gel. This is a product I heard of thanks to YouTuber CutePolish, and I know that they are exclusive the US Walmart. You can also buy them online, but factoring in shipping and potential customs, it was worth the wait to buy in store. A tub is only 3.88 and it makes nail polish removal a little more simple, so I totally suggest it.
While roaming through some of the other make-up aisles I came across a display for Black Radiance. I have heard people rave about these palettes since they are similar to the Wet and Wild 8 pan palettes. If I`m not mistaken, they are produced by the same parent company. I picked up 2 palettes - Downtown Browns and Island Blues. And lucky for me, there was a coupon included with one of the palettes and the cashier was nice enough to apply it to both for a dollar off each! :)
I ended up skipping the Wet and Wild products knowing that Walgreens was having a sale on W&W products.
I was looking for stuff from the Fergie collection mostly, since those products have yet to make their way to Canada. One product I knew I wanted was the Ferguson Crest Cabernet lipstick that I didn`t pick up last time I was in the USA. I grabbed the Fergie Daily nude shade that everyone was raving about, but I knew I wanted the deep berry/wine shade in my life as well. Lucky for me, it was a dollar off so it rang in at just over 3 bucks.
I also noticed the Velvet Matte lip colours and grabbed Pinky Candy. This also was just over 3 dollars.
I was also curious to try the Fergie line blushes, but they were not in stock. However, I have never picked up the blushes from the regular line either - not sure why since people seem to rave about them. I guess I have only recently started getting into blush, so I figured it was a good time to pick up a Wet and Wild blush, especially since it was on sale for under 3 bucks. They only had 2 or 3 shades in stock, and Heather Silk was the only matte option so Im going to give it a go :)
So excited to finally get my hands on the Power Gel as well as the Black Radiance palettes!
