I have a Halloween design to share with you but I first wanted to show you the base polish I used. I didn`t want to clutter it with designs and such. I love this polish on its own and part of me didn`t want to move forward with the manicure... however, I have a few Halloween themed ones that I need to get out and have been saying I would. This is Grunge. It came in a set with several other mini Urban Decay polishes. I hadn`t used this one yet and I really don`t know why. I have had it for over a year. The only excuse I can really use is that my list of untrieds just keeps growing so some polishes end up being pushed to the back burner. Unfortunately, this was one of those. :-( Grunge is a deep blackened blue with silver shimmers running through it. The shimmers are incredibly small and not at all like a chunky glitter. This is a color that runs so close to being one of those black when indoors polishes. It just skims short of that point, though, and you can see it is, indeed, blue. Application was nice on this. The brush wand is extremely small (mini bottle) so that took a bit of getting used to, but the brush was a regular size. I did notice the brush was softer than the typical polish brush. That really didn`t change the way it swiped on, though. I didn`t experience any tugging, clumping, or pooling. It went on smooth and with ease. I am wearing two coats in these photos and I feel that is perfectly enough to get a good, solid, opaque manicure.
