I believe the very first post I made on Luuux was a brief review on this foundation. Given that I made this review almost five months ago, I thought I`d just make an updated one with swatches and before and after pictures since people have been asking me lately on my thoughts about this foundation. Hopefully, this clears things up for you, and helps with your decision on whether or not this would be something you`d like to try.
First of all, I bought this at Sephora for $40. I`m very fair skinned. The shade I have is #125 Sand. I`m gonna start off by giving you the basic pros and cons of this product, and then I`ll go into a little more detail about certain aspects of this product.
-Comes in 25 different shades, so it makes things more likely that you`ll find the right shade for you.
-Has a pump.
-The product itself lasts for a very long time (I`m talking about like at least a year).
-The formula is very smooth and creamy.
-It lasts a long time. No need for reapplying at all.
-Gives maximum coverage without feeling heavy. It`s actually pretty lightweight on the skin. You don`t feel like you have anything on.
-Looks great when photographed! Makes skin look a lot better than it actually is.
-You only need a little bit to cover your whole face.
-Gives a flawless, airbrushed look.
-Leaves skin with a slightly matte finish.
-Gives a slightly dewy glow.
-Has a soft focus effect.
-It`s a bit pricey for some.
-Can be drying.
-It`s cakey in some spots.
I hope you can see in the pictures just how much of a difference there is. I have horrible skin with red spots in certain areas of my face, as well as birthmarks on my cheeks. Without the foundation, my skin basically looks like hell. It`s very uneven, and looks sickly. After the foundation, however, it evens out my skin very well, and does a great job of concealing my birthmarks. I love this foundation very much. I feel like it`s my skin, but better.
I don`t trip about the cons of this product too much. I feel that for the price I pay for this foundation, it`s worth it. In general, it should last you a good six months depending on how often you use it, and how much. Personally, this foundation has lasted me well over a year, and it still looks full. I do not wear this foundation every day, but I do wear it at least three times a week. While the cons can get a bit annoying, I feel like the pros outweigh them by a long shot, and it`s just a little price to pay to achieve such overall great results from using this foundation. Also, the cons aren`t really noticeable from far away, so that`s good. It`s the only one that has ever really worked for me, and it`s definitely worth the investment.
Overall rating: 9.5/10
